Winter is upon us
Tomorrow’s forcast: Mainly sunny and warm with a high of 82°. But wait, that’s the forcast for Rancho Cucamonga! Here at good ‘ol GC we had our first taste of snow today.
Sad as it may be it looks like winter has finally caught up with us here. Speaking of winter, doesn’t that mean Christmas is just around the corner? NO I say! Thanksgiving is right around the corner people. Remember? That wonderful holiday jammed in there between Halloween and Christmas. Well, in honor of this great holiday I’m refraining from posting my Christmas list until it is officially the next major US holiday on the calendar
This year I’m going to follow tradition and make my 4th annual Thanksgiving trek to Hesston, KS. But there’s a twist. I’m continuing south after the trip to KS all the way to Enid, Oklahoma. Beth has some family down there (yes, of course Beth’s coming along! :-D) so we’re going to spend a day or two down there enjoying food, family, games, and of course… probably more food. Anyway, I’ll give more updates as the time approaches. Oh, and no fear, I’ll let you know when my Christmas list does go online
Well, it’s time I head off to enjoy the snow & 11 degree wind chill, wish me luck!
