This week has been so full of ups & down that I hardly know where to start. My first prayer request is for Beth’s family, especially the Thesman side. This past Sunday Jake Thesman, Debbie’s dad, passed away. While I didn’t get the chance to know Jake very well, on a personal level, I did enjoy the times I got to meet him, including this past August when Beth & I had breakfast with Jake and Leora on our way out to Goshen. A second prayer request is for Debbie specifically. On Tuesday she had to go to the hospital with respiratory problems. She has had to stay the past two nights there as doctors ran tests but fortunately has been getting some energy back. Keep Debbie in your prayers, especially that she can be ready to travel in time to attend the funeral this Friday. Finally, Beth and I will be flying to Oklahoma Thursday morning. Beth’s professors and my bosses have been very understanding and flexible which is very nice. Still, pray for us as we travel, as well as the rest of Beth’s family who is and will be on the road soon. Thank you, and I’ll let you know as I get more information about Debbie.
